Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions explain the terms that apply when you
browse the Artisan Sofas website, place an order with us or purchase
furniture or other products through our website.

Last updated: 4 September 2026

1. About Us

Artisan Sofas is operated by Harvest Moon Interiors, an independent
furniture retailer based in Southport, Merseyside.

When you place an order through the Artisan Sofas website, your contract
is with Harvest Moon Interiors.

2. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the
Artisan Sofas website.

Please read them carefully before placing an order. By placing an
order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects the statutory rights
that you have as a consumer under UK law.

3. Our Products

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions,
dimensions, specifications, photographs and other information
displayed on our website are accurate.

Furniture is, however, a physical and often handcrafted product.
Minor variations can occur between individual pieces.

Colours shown on screen may also vary depending on your monitor,
phone, tablet, display settings and lighting conditions.

We therefore strongly recommend requesting a fabric sample before
ordering where colour, texture or fabric finish is important to you.

Dimensions supplied by the manufacturer should be treated as
approximate and minor manufacturing tolerances may occur.

4. Fabric and Natural Variations

Many of the products sold through Artisan Sofas are available in a
range of fabrics, colours and finishes.

Natural fibres and textured fabrics may show variations in weave,
shade, texture or appearance. These characteristics do not necessarily
indicate a fault.

Where different pieces are ordered at different times, we cannot
guarantee that fabric or dye batches will be identical.

Fabric samples are intended to provide a representative indication
of colour and texture but slight variation may occur between a sample
and the finished furniture.

5. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer
to purchase the products shown in your order.

After you place an order, you will normally receive an automated
acknowledgement confirming that we have received it.

An acknowledgement of your order does not necessarily mean that the
order has been accepted.

A contract between you and us is formed when we confirm that your
order has been accepted.

We may need to confirm product availability, fabric availability,
manufacturer availability or other details before accepting an order.

6. Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Many furniture products are manufactured or prepared after an order
is placed and stock or fabric availability can occasionally change
without notice.

If we are unable to supply a product you have ordered, we will
contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where we cannot fulfil your order, we may offer an appropriate
alternative. You are not required to accept an alternative product.

If we cannot supply the product and no acceptable alternative is
agreed, we will cancel the affected item and refund any payment
already made for it.

7. Prices

Prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling.

Unless stated otherwise, prices shown to consumers include VAT at
the applicable rate.

Any applicable delivery charges will be shown before you complete
your order.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are displayed correctly.
However, errors can occasionally occur.

If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order,
we will contact you and give you the opportunity to continue at the
correct price or cancel the order.

If we are unable to contact you, we may cancel the order and refund
any payment already made.

8. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available
during checkout.

Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider.

By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorised
to use the payment method supplied.

We may delay acceptance or fulfilment of an order if payment has not
been successfully authorised or if additional verification is
reasonably required.

9. Delivery Areas

The delivery options available to you will depend on your location,
the product ordered and the delivery services available at the time.

Any delivery restrictions or additional delivery charges that apply
to your order will be communicated before the order is completed
wherever reasonably possible.

If we discover after an order has been placed that additional
delivery arrangements are required, we will contact you before
proceeding.

10. Delivery Lead Times

Many products sold through Artisan Sofas are manufactured, upholstered or prepared
specifically after an order is placed and therefore have longer
delivery lead times than ordinary stocked goods.

Any lead time shown on a product page is an estimate unless we
specifically agree a guaranteed delivery date with you.

By ordering a product for which a stated manufacturing or delivery
lead time applies, you agree that delivery may take place within
that stated period.

Lead times can occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our
reasonable control, including manufacturer delays, fabric availability,
transport disruption or other supply-chain issues.

We will keep you reasonably informed if we become aware of a
significant delay.

Your legal rights in relation to late delivery are not affected by
this section.

11. Arranging Delivery

We or our delivery partner may contact you to arrange a suitable
delivery date.

Please ensure that the telephone number and delivery details supplied
with your order are accurate.

Someone must normally be available at the delivery address to accept
the furniture at the agreed time.

12. Access to Your Property

Before ordering, you are responsible for checking that the furniture
will fit into your property and can be safely moved through all
relevant access points.

You should consider:

  • Door widths and heights
  • Hallways and corridors
  • Staircases and landings
  • Low ceilings
  • Lifts
  • Gates and external access
  • Restricted parking or vehicle access
  • Any tight turns or other obstructions

Product dimensions are provided on our website to help you make
these checks.

If delivery cannot reasonably be completed because access is
unsuitable or because information supplied to us was inaccurate,
we may charge reasonable additional costs genuinely incurred in
arranging another delivery or returning the goods.

13. Delivery and Risk

Responsibility for loss of or damage to the goods passes to you when
the goods are delivered into your physical possession, or to another
person that you have authorised to receive them.

Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment
in full.

14. Checking Your Furniture on Delivery

Where reasonably possible, please inspect your furniture when it is
delivered.

If you notice obvious damage, missing items or an incorrect product,
please notify the delivery team and contact us as soon as reasonably
possible.

Failure to identify damage immediately does not remove any statutory
rights that you may have.

15. Your Right to Cancel an Online Order

If you are a consumer purchasing goods online, you will normally
have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your contract
within 14 days without giving a reason.

For most goods, the cancellation period ends 14 days after the day
on which you, or someone you nominate, receives the goods.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must tell us clearly that you
wish to cancel your order.

You can do this by contacting:

Email:
info@harvestmoon.co.uk

Telephone:
01704 548176

You may also use the model cancellation form at the bottom of this
page, although you do not have to use it.

16. Standard Fabric Choices and Bespoke Orders

Choosing a sofa, chair, stool or other item in a fabric, colour,
size or finish from the standard options offered on our website does
not automatically mean that the product is a bespoke or personalised
product for the purposes of your statutory cancellation rights.

However, your normal right to cancel may not apply where a product
has genuinely been made to your individual specifications or clearly
personalised for you.

This could include, for example, a special fabric, finish,
modification, size or configuration that is not part of the standard
range normally offered for that product.

Where we believe an order is genuinely bespoke and the statutory
cancellation exception will apply, we will make this clear to you
before accepting the order.

Your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise
fail to meet the requirements of consumer law are not affected.

17. Cancelling Before Delivery

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been delivered, please
contact us as soon as possible.

Where your statutory cancellation right applies, we will deal with
the cancellation in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Where an order is genuinely bespoke or personalised and the statutory
cooling-off right does not apply, any cancellation will be considered
based on the circumstances and the costs already reasonably incurred.

We will not impose an unfair or disproportionate cancellation charge.

18. Returning Goods After Cancellation

If you cancel an order after receiving the goods, you must normally
return them to us within 14 days of informing us that you wish to
cancel.

Because furniture can be large and unsuitable for normal postal
return, please contact us before arranging a return.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or we have agreed
otherwise, you may be responsible for the reasonable direct cost of
returning the goods.

Where collection is required, we will tell you the applicable
collection cost before arranging it.

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while
they are in your possession.

We may make a reasonable deduction from a refund where the value of
the goods has been reduced because they have been handled beyond what
would reasonably be necessary to establish their nature,
characteristics and functioning.

19. Refunds Following Cancellation

Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will
refund payments due to you in accordance with applicable consumer law.

This will include the cost of our standard delivery service where
applicable.

If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard
delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional cost
of that enhanced service.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or
you provide evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs
first.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for
the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.

20. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

We want your furniture to arrive in the condition you reasonably
expect.

Under UK consumer law, goods must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for their intended purpose
  • As described

If you believe that a product is faulty, damaged or not as described,
please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide details
of the issue.

Photographs may help us assess visible damage or manufacturing issues,
but asking for photographs does not affect your legal rights.

Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, the
appropriate remedy may include a repair, replacement, price reduction
or refund.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any remedy
to which you are legally entitled.

21. Manufacturer Guarantees

Some products may be supplied with a manufacturer’s guarantee or
warranty.

Details of any applicable guarantee will be provided on the relevant
product page, with the product documentation or upon request.

Any manufacturer’s guarantee is provided in addition to, and does
not replace, your statutory consumer rights.

22. Caring for Your Furniture

You should follow the manufacturer’s care instructions supplied with
your furniture.

Different fabrics may require different cleaning methods and not all
loose covers are suitable for machine washing.

Always follow the care label attached to the particular fabric or
product.

Damage caused by misuse, unsuitable cleaning products, failure to
follow care instructions, accidental damage or normal wear and tear
may not constitute a manufacturing fault.

23. Website Information

We aim to keep the Artisan Sofas website accurate and available, but
we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or free
from technical errors.

We may update, change or temporarily remove website content where
reasonably necessary.

24. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including
text, graphics, layouts, branding and other original material, is
owned by us or used with the permission of the relevant rights
holder.

Product names, trademarks, photographs and other material belonging
to Tetrad or other manufacturers remain the property of their
respective owners.

Website content may not be reproduced, republished or commercially
exploited without the appropriate permission.

25. Links to Other Websites

Our website may contain links to websites operated by other
organisations.

We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of
third-party websites.

26. Our Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability
where it would be unlawful to do so.

In particular, we do not exclude or limit liability for death or
personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent
misrepresentation or your statutory rights in relation to goods.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, we are responsible for losses
that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our
failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably
foreseeable when the contract was made.

Products sold through this website are supplied for normal domestic
and private use unless expressly stated otherwise.

27. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events
outside our reasonable control.

These may include severe weather, transport disruption, industrial
action, manufacturer shutdowns, shortages of materials, disruption
to utilities or communications, natural disasters or other
circumstances that we could not reasonably prevent.

Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable
steps to minimise the impact and keep you informed.

Your statutory rights, including any rights relating to substantial
delivery delays, remain unaffected.

28. Personal Information

We process personal information in accordance with our
Privacy Policy.

Information about the cookies and similar technologies used on our
website is available in our
Cookie Policy.

29. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The terms applying to an order will normally be those in force when
the order was placed.

The current version will always be published on this page together
with the date it was last updated.

30. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and any contract between you and us are
governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you
may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections and may be
entitled to bring proceedings in the courts applicable to where you
live.
